Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking an experienced Marketing Director, focused on the user experience, to join our global marketing team.   Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital Experience & Insights, the ideal candidate will be responsible for creating the end-to-end digital experiences across channels (web, email, events, applications, and mobile) focused on the customer.  The right candidate will be able to successfully lead researching and understanding customer needs, developing a user strategy to address those needs, and architecting the user flows to fulfill those needs.  In order to effectively drive and deliver this experience, a candidate will have firm understanding in best practices across information architecture, user experience design, user research across digital channels, and have demonstrated the ability to successfully tie those channel experiences together in a complimentary omnichannel experience.  In order to continue to evolve our presence, this individual will be well versed in advocating for the customer experience, analyzing user behavior, understanding how that relates to core business objectives, and championing a vision to realize the intersection of these objectives.  This role will work within a matrixed organization to fulfill these objectives, collaborating closely with creative design, development, digital marketing and CRM teams.


Duties and Responsibilities

Digital ResearchAnalyze user experience behavior to develop understanding of customer/prospect habits.
Analyze existing platforms to fully understand business objectives, audiences, and areas of opportunity.
Conduct and champion user studies, surveys, focus groups, or other methods to better determine user needs and expectations.
Develop prototypes, designs, or concepts to guide development of digital experience research.
Define, prioritize and outline needs of end users based on business objectives.
Digital Experience StrategyCollaborate and consult with product development, digital marketing, CRM and development teams on gathering and prioritizing platform requirements.
Develop roadmap of enhancements and platform development related to business requirements.
Construct end user strategy to deliver omnichannel experience for customers and prospects.
Work with cross functional teams on analyzing technologies, vendors and platforms needed to improve experience.
Champion strategy and enhancements across multiple departments to schedule and realize delivery.
Information Architecture and Experience DesignDocument and develop user flows based on business requirements and user behavior.
Design and architect information architecture design for user experience across digital channels including but not limited to web, mobile, applications, event platforms and digital communications.
Produce functional specifications, comps and working concepts/prototypes of proposed experience design for development and creative service delivery.
Guide and consult delivery teams on realization of functional experience.
Review behavior analytics and refine experience based on digital metrics.
Skills / Requirements

Bachelors’ Degree in design, computer science or other related function
7+ years progressive experience in executing functions within user experience design, information architecture or product development
5+ years in conducting user research and behavioral analysis
3+ years in a leadership role in developing user experience strategy for large scale digital platforms
3+ years experience in shaping cross-platform interaction design
3+ years in prototyping or designing specifications for platform development
3+ years experience in gathering and interpreting business requirements
A passion for advocating for end user and experience in championing and promoting ideas to senior leadership
Mastery of prototyping/wireframing technologies such as sketch, adobe xd,balsamiq, or other related platforms
Mastery of adobe suite of design products
Strong organizational and presentation skills
Experience in working with cross functional teams to deliver omnichannel results
Collaborative work approach/mindset
