Overview:

We are looking for a Data Analyst who is curious and loves to find the power in the data. You will be responsible for using data to tell stories which will power our business. You need to be creative and build smart products. A big part of this job is about creating actionable insights for our customers and the business using analytics and statistical techniques. You will need to translate analytic insights into concrete, actionable recommendations for business improvement.

Responsibilities

Synthesize the data available into insights/recommendations about the success of our programs in transforming the behavior of our target audience while identifying opportunities for program optimization and enhancement
Act as strategic consultant utilizing the aforementioned insights/recommendations as the foundation for presentations, reports, assorted deliverables in either a face-to-face setting or via teleconference
Effectively displays high business acumen presence in meetings and in writing, being able to influence and collaborate with people across the organization, impact positive change, understand competitive offerings, identify business needs to get projects moving and keep them moving forward in alignment with internal teams
Provide strategic review of your team’s work to ensure deliverables are on time, data cleanliness and clean presentation of story is presented, and overall of high quality
Ability to remain objective and open minded; making fact-based recommendations and decisions
Capture data gaps and opportunities to improve data for business operations and planning
Maintain and build relationships with key customers and partners
Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Math, or Finance
3-5 years of experience working in the areas of data management
Deep understanding of data mining concepts/statistics/data visualization
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: ability to tell a clear, concise, actionable story with data, to folks across various level of the company
A high degree of organization, accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
Ability to execute in a dynamic and demanding environment by demonstrating organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
Demonstrated initiative, works well under pressure, highly detail oriented, self-motivated with the ability to follow through and implement process improvement
Intellectual Curiosity
Power-user of business IT software: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Literacy of business intelligence software such as Datorama, Tableau, Power BI, Adobe, Google, etc.
