The Goldman Sachs Virtual Returnship® Program, a twelve-week paid internship for professionals looking to relaunch their careers after time away from the workforce, continues to be an important component of the firm’s recruiting efforts. The program gives those who temporarily leave the workforce – whether to raise children, care for a loved one, or for other personal reasons – an opportunity to reintegrate into the workplace and sharpen their professional and technical skills.
Our 2021 Returnship® Program in the Americas will take place virtually from Tuesday, January 19 to Friday, April 9. While the program will be fully virtual, the goal is to have full-time hires onboard in-person in various office locations across the Americas, provided it is safe to do so. As in previous years, the program will provide participants with opportunities to gain experience in several divisions and access to ongoing training and mentoring.
The application window is now open, and we have already received strong interest. - Currently out of the workforce for two or more years
- Prior relevant professional work experience
- A demonstrated interest in financial services
