Luminary (Lifetime Achievement)

Celebrates a woman who has achieved preeminent long-term success in the financial industry while devoting herself to furthering the interests of other women in the workplace. The WIND Luminary embodies and advances WIND’s mission to attract, retain, educate and develop female leaders in the financial industry. This woman is a seasoned role model and is making a significant impact by driving change across the industry through her strategic vision and commitment to advancing women’s leadership, including through her strong support of WIND and its mission.

Male Ambassador Award

Celebrates a seasoned male ally, who through his personal commitment, application and dedication, continuously promotes and inspires women in the workplace to reach their full potential. The WIND Ambassador strongly supports and advances WIND’s mission, including by going out of his way to create opportunities to get more female representation at senior levels and challenges stereotypes, confronts biases, and leverages his expertise to attract, retain and develop female leaders in the financial industry.

Trail Blazers Award

This category celebrates and recognizes leaders (>15 years of experience) in the finance industry who have taken initiative with respect to their careers, have shown that it is possible to break glass ceilings and served as sponsors to promote the participation and professional growth of women within the financial industry in support of WIND’s mission.

Rising Stars Award

Celebrates women who are in the 5th-15th year of their careers and who are making an exceptional impact within their organizations. They are shaping their organizations, not only in terms of business success, but also as role models to their peers and colleagues. Each WIND Rising Star’s professional accomplishments and her drive to help other women distinguish her as a future female leader in the financial industry, epitomizing WIND’s mission.

Corporate Champion Award

Celebrates a best in class organization that has demonstrated a strong commitment to WIND and WIND’s mission to attract, retain, educate and develop female leaders in the financial industry. The WIND Corporate Champion has established a clear mission, strategy and business practice to foster, cultivate and preserve a culture of diversity and inclusion. The winner of this award has created a long-term vision and framework to recruit and promote women to excel within their organization and the financial industry. This exemplary organization is leading the charge and paving the way for the future of diversity and inclusion.

2022 Cohort Programs:

These programs are designed to help advance high-performing women with targeted programming that commensurate with their experience and seniority. It is a great opportunity for peer networking with other organizations within the financial industry. 

Emerge Group

1 year cohort program for an Emerge group (0 to 5 years’ experience) starting January 2022. The size of the cohort will be approximately 20 women. This group will meet monthly for 1 hour with guest speaker(s) (WIND board member or Trial Blazer women) to discuss leadership topics of importance and participate in networking discussions. This will also include participation in two (2) Letters to Younger Self Series to hear from a senior female executive on what she would have told her younger self. These speaker sessions are ONLY for this cohort so will offer intimacy to ask questions and really engage in conversation with the speaker and with their Emerge peers.

Rising Stars

1 year cohort program for Rising Stars group (5-15 years’ experience) starting January 2022. The size of the cohort will be approximately 20 women. We are seeking nominations of mid-career women who are high potential employees within your organization and demonstrating leadership potential. This group will meet monthly for 1 hour with guest speaker(s) (WIND board member or Trial Blazer women) to discuss leadership topics of importance and participate in networking discussions. There will be opportunities for this group of women to interview senior women role models in the industry and create topics of choice that are timely in preparation for their commercial success to take on future leadership roles. They will also serve as role models to Emerge group, while getting an opportunity to hone their skillset to become future leaders in their organizations.

Trail Blazers

1 year cohort program for Trail Blazer group (>15 years’ experience) starting January 2022. We are seeking nominations for senior level women who are highly accomplished ,with a proven track record in execution and leadership within the financial industry. This group will meet periodically (time to be agreed with the nominees) with a focus on building a collaborative peer network that can discuss industry topics, professional development, and engage with other cohorts to help develop women in the industry. The size of the cohort will be approximately 10 women.
