Join Women In Derivatives (WIND) on Saturday, March 26th from 9:00-9:45am EST for a 45 minute Peloton Ride to fundraise for humanitarian aid and support to Ukraine. #StandWithUkraine
All proceeds will be donated to International Rescue Committee (IRC) in support of Ukraine refugees and humanitarian aid efforts. (Please note you do not need to participate in this event to donate)
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) help to restore health, safety, education, economic wellbeing and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. They are proud to fight for a world where women and girls have an equal chance to succeed. For almost 90 years, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has been responding to the world’s worst humanitarian crises. When a new crisis strikes, the IRC’s emergency team swiftly activates to determine the most effective way to reach people in need. IRC’s response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has killed nearly 600 civilians and displaced more than 3 million people so far, is no different. The IRC team quickly deployed to neighboring Poland, where they are working with partners to assist arriving refugees. They are also working with partners inside Ukraine, supporting the evacuation of women and children and providing emergency aid to people who had to flee their homes.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of those affected.
