Alejandra Glass is Head of the First Line Risk and Control Group and Business Resilience in support of DTCC’s Clearing Agencies. In this capacity, she leads the strategy and execution of integrated risk management focused on the comprehensive management of risk, resilience, and governance priorities for our clients. She is the Co-Chair for the International Securities Services Association Operational Resilience working group and former member of the Recovery, Resolution and Resilience working group.

Alejandra’s approach to risk management is client centric and focused on an operating model led from the first line to support dynamic business environment through collaboration. Her leadership has resulted in the establishment of innovative solutions and further progression in maturing DTCC’s risk framework.

Alejandra has over 20 years of experience including process engineering, analytical problem-solving, business continuity, operational resilience, formulating strategic action plans, and applying design thinking to minimize costs and increase operational efficiencies. Prior to joining DTCC, her experience spans across various disciplines including Fixed Income Technology, Wealth Management, and Securities Backed Lending. Her keen focus and experience in the business lines and risk functions enables her to promote effective challenge, embed a risk and control mindset, and increase sustainability of our processes in support of our clients.

She is a champion of diversity, inclusion & belonging and a prominent member of UNIDOS, DTCC’s Latinx employee resource group. She is also affiliated with several external organizations, including the Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA).
