Marisol Collazo is Managing Director at DTCC and serves as Global Head of Relationship Management. Her focus for the team is to lead with a consultative mindset and to be strategic advisors to the firm’s clients, advising on DTCC services to meet their evolving needs and collaborating to develop new innovative solutions.
Prior to this role, Marisol served as Business Development and Global Head of Strategic Partnerships enabling DTCC’s long-term growth strategy through highly collaborative strategic partnerships. Before that, Marisol served as CEO of DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR) for the Americas region. She also played a significant role in shaping the global GTR business and expanding its presence in Singapore, Japan, Sydney and London. During this time, Marisol built a strong reputation with regulators globally as a trusted industry expert and her combination of legal and business experience provided a credible presence for collaborating with regulators on effective regulation for the OTC derivatives markets. From 2013 through 2017, she served on the CFTC’s Technology Advisory Committee as DTCC’s representative on all matters spanning regulatory, technology and operational matters.
Prior to joining DTCC, Marisol spent 15 years on the sell-side in various operational and project management roles at Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan and Mizuho.
Marisol was recognized in 2015 for Excellence in Leadership by Trader’s Magazine’s Wall Street Women, in 2016 for Excellence in Clearing Services by Market Media’s Wall Street Women, and in 2019 for Alliance Professional of the Year by Waters Magazine’s Women in Technology & Data. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Women in Derivatives, a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to attract, retain, educate and develop female leaders in the financial industry.
Marisol holds a juris doctor degree from New York Law School and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Arts from John Jay College with a major in government and political science.
