Ilene Froom is a partner in the Financial Industry group at the law firm, Reed Smith. Ms. Froom practices in the firm’s New York office where she advises clients on derivatives transactions, including related regulatory issues and documentation. Ms. Froom advises buyside and sellside clients and on a range of products and documents, including, global swap platforms, prime brokerage agreements, equity, FX and fixed income transactions, ISDA Master Agreements, Account Control Agreements, Regulatory Margin Credit Support Documentation, MSFTAs, GMRAs, MRAs and customized trades.

Ms. Froom previously worked at Jones Day and JPMorgan Chase Bank. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association’s Derivatives and Structured Products Committee, which she formerly chaired, the New York City Bar Association‘s Committee on Futures and Derivatives and is involved in other industry organizations. She frequently lectures on derivatives and has presented at conferences for ISDA, PLI, New York City Bar and ACI. Ms. Froom received her J.D. degree from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University.
