  • On October 1, ESMA released a consultation on clearing obligations for FX NDFs (comments due November 6, 2014.)

 

  • On September 29, ESMA released a draft consultation on derivatives definitions (comments due January 5, 2015).

 

  • On September 24, ESMA released responses to its consultation paper on CDS clearing obligations.

 

  • On September 23, the FSB and IMF released a progress report on the implementation of the G20 Data Gaps Initiative.

 

  • On September 21, the FSB released a letter from Chairman Mark Carney to the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors regarding financial reform.

 

  • On September 19, the FSB released a study on approaches to aggregating derivatives data (see Press Release).

 

  • On September 18, held a meeting to discuss global financial reform.  The FSB also released a report to the G20 on the ability of jurisdictions to defer to each other’s derivatives regulatory regimes (see Press Release).

 

  • Also on September 18, the FCA held a conference at which issues relating to MiFID II were discussed.

 

  • On September 17, IOSCO release a consultation on risk mitigation standards for non-centrally cleared derivatives (comments are due by October 17, 2014; see Press Release).
