What our Team Does
Wealth Management Operations
Our Global Wealth Management Operations team seeks to provide brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. We apply our expertise in helping institutional clients to create new opportunities for people to achieve their personal financial goals. Our firm has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client’s investment needs, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Our products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.
Our Tax and Client Reporting Operations (TRCO) team provides Operational support for client and tax reporting related Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Institutional functions. As part of their support model, TCRO has a dedicated Change the Bank team which is responsible for management of large scale programs and initiatives across Cost Basis, Tax Documentation, Tax Withholding, Tax Reporting, Performance Reporting, Client Confirms / Statements, and Prospectus. The team collaborates with stakeholders in Operations, technology, and the Business to analyze, define and deliver technology supporting the Operational processes.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will guide key strategic initiatives from their inception through to implementation, concentrating on Withholding, Documentation, and Filling and Deposits. Our team would love to hear from you if you have an interest in this area!
-You will have worked within a similar environment for 5 – 7 years, most commonly within Program/ Project Management, Process Engineering, or Strategy within Financial Services.
-You will have knowledge of Tax Operational processes and Tax specific regulations
-You will have substantial experience realizing success utilizing the Waterfall and/ or Agile project methodology across various stages of the full project lifecycle, including:
-Articulating project work plan/ roadmaps
-Project scope alignment
-Complex and formal requirements gathering
-Oversight of user testing – both to formulate an approach as well as oversight of the testing effort
Collating and presenting status reports
-You will have a communication style that will enable you to present complex information concisely to both junior team members and senior leadership, through both written and oral mediums
-You will have experience with developing and building positive relationships with stakeholders, facilitating transparent discussion on requests, priorities, requirements, and progress updates
-You will be familiar with managing budget and other resources
-You will have experience of inspiring a team towards success across various projects, displaying a capability for both people and project management
-You will be risk-conscious, and capable of constructing plans that will actively mitigate any potential risk to the firm
