Marisol Collazo currently serves as Managing Director of DTCC’s Institutional Trade Processing Business Development. In this role, Ms. Collazo is responsible for identifying new opportunities to expand the firm’s Institutional Trade Processing product suite to meet the evolving needs of market participants around the world. Keenly focused on expanding DTCC’s global footprint, Ms. Collazo focuses on setting strategic priorities for the business as well as identifying and building collaborative partnerships to propel growth. She is also a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council at DTCC.
Ms. Collazo joined DTCC in 2007 as Vice President of DTCC Deriv/SERV where she was responsible for developing and managing the Trade Information Warehouse service and for overseeing regulatory relationships associated with DTCC’s Global Trade Repository (GTR). She was later appointed as CEO of DTCC’s GTR offering in the U.S. in 2013.
With more than 25 years of derivatives industry experience, prior to joining DTCC, Ms. Collazo also held a number of derivatives project and product related-roles at Bank of America, Deutsche Bank AG, JPMorgan Chase, Mizuho Capital Markets Corporation and Barclays Bank.
Ms. Collazo received her B.A. degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 1997 and J.D. degree from New York Law School in 2002.
She has been an active Board Member of Women in Derivatives since 2012. Today, she serves as co-Chair of the organization’s Leadership and Mentoring Program.
Ms. Collazo was recognized in 2015 by Trader Magazine’s Wall Street Women Award for “Excellence in Leadership” and in 2016 by Markets Media’s Women in Finance Awards for “Excellence in Clearing”.
