Kristin is a Managing Director with Guggenheim Partners where she provides legal advice related to its private fund business. Previously, Kristin was a Special Counsel at Schulte Roth & Zabel and an Associate at Merrill Lynch. Her background includes structuring private funds and negotiating seed and trading agreements. She has significant experience negotiating highly structured deals, including complex credit and equity based products, CLNs, CLOs, CDOs, derivatives related to ABS and RMBS and derivatives on private funds. She has advised private fund managers in overall operational, regulatory and risk management procedures and with compliance programs. Kristin has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry.
Kristin is an avid writer on private investment fund related topics and a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars. She is a founder, Chair of the Board and the President of Women in Derivatives. Kristin earned a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, an M.B.A. from Northeastern University Graduate School of Business, and a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
