Kimberly Summe is General Counsel and President of Stillwater Investment Management, LP. She previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Partner Fund Management, LP, a multi-billion dollar investment advisory firm and as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital and as the General Counsel of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association. She commenced her legal career as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLC and Pillsbury Winthrop LLC.
Ms. Summe also serves as a Lecturer in Law at Stanford University’s Law School and a member of the Economic Policy Working Group on Bankruptcy Reform at the Hoover Institute. She has published nearly 20 articles on a range of legal and regulatory topics. Ms. Summe serves as Chairman of a New York City based charity’s Board of Directors and on several other non-profit Boards. She is also on the Executive Committee for the Managed Funds Association.
Ms. Summe received a J.D. at The University of Chicago Law School and an LLB. and M.A. (Honours) at Cambridge University. She also received a M.Sc. (Econ) from The London School of Economics and a B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
