Kimberly Summe

Kimberly SummeKimberly Summe is General Counsel and President of Stillwater Investment Management, LP.  She previously served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Partner Fund Management, LP, a multi-billion dollar investment advisory firm and as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital and as the General Counsel of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.  She commenced her legal career as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLC and Pillsbury Winthrop LLC.

Ms. Summe also serves as a Lecturer in Law at Stanford University’s Law School and a member of the Economic Policy Working Group on Bankruptcy Reform at the Hoover Institute.  She has published nearly 20 articles on a range of legal and regulatory topics. Ms. Summe serves as Chairman of a New York City based charity’s Board of Directors and on several other non-profit Boards. She is also on the Executive Committee for the Managed Funds Association.

Ms. Summe received a J.D. at The University of Chicago Law School and an LLB. and M.A. (Honours) at Cambridge University.  She also received a M.Sc. (Econ) from The London School of Economics and a B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
